Meet Dr. Natasha Annis

Founder of The Wellness Studio, LLC
For the past 25 years, I’ve worked alongside high-performing leaders, teams, and individuals navigating intense environments in national security settings. I've seen firsthand the extraordinary goals humans can accomplish when pushed to do hard things, especially when trained to reach and sustain peak performance under stress.
It is exhilarating to reach our goals. But there is a flip side. In today’s world, we can easily find ourselves trapped in an endless loop of striving—pressuring ourselves and others not just to be great, but to keep excelling, in everything!
For the past 25 years, Dr. Annis has worked with high-performing people, leaders, and teams on how to reach their goals, while navigating life's challenges that inevitably arise. she has seen first hand the powerful transformation people make when they learn about the stress response, the interaction between our minds and bodies, and the tools that enable humans to have more influence over our reactions and responses then we think.
She has a passion for sharing foundational knowledge and practical tools on how to level up our skills, move through stress, and sustain peak performance with recovery after intense experiences or over sustained periods of time.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, a certified leadership coach, an instructor for leadership and well-being courses, and a certified yoga instructor, Dr. Annis brings an integrative approach to her work, deeply informed by the cross-sections of these fields. She currently spends her professional time working with national security agencies and private sector clients, where she delivers science-informed trainings and interventions. She has served in multiple leadership positions throughout her career, and served in the field. She is known as a leader within the psychologist intelligence community, to include founding and chairing an ethics working group for the past eleven years.
My clients consistently find the tools and models shared here to be helpful. I too use these skills on a daily basis to navigate in and out of the zones of stress, so I can face life's challenges head-on., while remembering to pause long enough to enjoy all the good stuff in-between.
